~Kay de Courval – Look Swimwear~

I have lost count of how many times we have tried to finish this shoot for Look Swimwear with Kay de Courval, it seems every time we mother nature decided it should rain instead.

Well we ALMOST beat her today, we got the majority of what we needed, but still need to finish off a few things in the next week or so.

We connected with Look Swimwear during a recent trip to Miami when we started the shooting. Look sent Kay and I 4 bikinis to shoot for their site.
We got one of those done while we were in South beach, but then we had to return to Toronto. Weather has been fighting us ever since!

We headed over to Toronto Island today to finish everything off, we chose Gebralter Point Beach as our location since it’s a little further away from the main beach and would likely be a lot less crowded … we were right, there was about 4 people there when we arrived.

Just before we lost the sun and all our good weather, we pulled off a few super hott and sexy jeans/topless style pix for one of our other projects as well.

~Laura Christina 2~

I have been on a bit of a hiatus lately, took some time off after I returned from shooting Ami James in South Beach last month … I needed to take a break for a bit. But, back to work, and I can’t think of a better shoot to get back into the swing of things …

Today I took an old school approach to my work. Laura Christina and I headed to a cheap, dingy little motel in the east end to shoot some raw, sexy, and edgy images.

We went for the simple and “raw” look with this shoot. Jeans, a button up top, bra/panty set and a bottle of some good ole JD (Jack Daniels)! No lights, no editing, just raw, sexy images on the schedule for today.

I have been wanting to do a shoot like this for a while and this seemed like a great time to give it a shot, the weather was nice, Laura was pumped about the concept so we set off for a little drive.

In the last year or so I have been starting to take a strong liking to the black and white look; something I previously didn’t appreciate as much.

We found a great spot out in the east end of the city that was perfect for the look we were going for, we paid for our room and got right to work.

We both really enjoyed the shoot and the photos that we captured. Hope you will enjoy them as much as we do!

~Kay de Courval – Look Swimwear~

What a crazy week it has been so far down here in beautiful South beach, FL!

This afternoon Kay de Courval and I took a short drive down to the Lummus Park section of South Beach. The weather was gorgeous, warm and sunny.

We arrived at the beach armed with a sexy little tease mesh thong bikini provided by Look Swimwear based out of Orlando.

We were actually able to shoot some shots up on Miami Beach Ocean Rescue Tower 114 thanks to Mike Zannine.

~Ami James – Miami Ink & NY Ink~

So today I had the great honor of shooting with world class tattoo legend Ami James of Miami Ink & NY Ink in South Beach, Florida.

I am shooting Ami for an upcoming feature in BLD Magazine. We did a 3 part shoot using a few different locations.

We started off shooting at Love Hate (Tattoo Shop), Ami’s tattoo shop in South Beach (better known as Miami Ink). We did a couple of different looks in the shop.

After the shop we moved to an outdoor location. We had a black on red 1963 Cadillac for this part of the shoot. Ami took me to a side street with some great art deco style buildings that reminded him of old school South Beach. What a great look. We parked the Caddy on the side of the road in front of one of the buildings and started shooting. Killer pix, I am really looking forward to seeing these ones in the mag!

Once we wrapped in the streets, we headed to Ami’s bar, also named Love Hate (Lounge). The bar featured a wall that looks like just like the wall at the NY Ink tattoo shop … LEGO! Very kool look.

We spent about 5 hours together shooting in various parts of South Beach, and we had a blast. Ami and his crew were very gracious hosts and took good care of us while we were down there. I wanted to give an special thanks to Guy from Love Hate Tattoo for letting me come in and shoot late one night after close with Kay de Courval for one of her shoots!

Looking forward to heading back to South Beach in the near future, and getting some ink from Ami, ran out of time on this trip.

Kay de Courval: COED Magazine

I got a message from the lovely little Kay this morning telling me to check out a link. It was a link that lead to COED Magazine‘s website, more specifically a feature on Kay de Courval.

Kay is ceretainly making a splash all over the internet and in print, so proud of her.

But what I really love about this piece COED did on Kay, they actually mentioned the fact that I “discovered” Kay. Love it!

~Shyla Suomi: Gone Country~

Ok, let me start this blog by saying Yeeeeeee Haaaaawwwwwwww! Lol.

Now that I got that out of my system, on with the good stuff! Shyla Suomi and I got to talking at one of our previous shoots about a couple of months back and decided we wanted to do a sexy cow girl themed shoot together. We have been waiting for close to two months now for the weather to get nice enough to do this shoot.

Hearing that the forecast was supposed to be relatively decent for today I called my primary makeup artist Aisha Chacha (owner of Chacha Cosmetics) and we got in my truck and headed out to St. Catharines, Ontario.

Well … it looked like it was gonna be a nice day out, buuuut didn’t turn out the way we were hoping. It wasn’t very sunny and on top of that, god damn was it windy! But Shyla being the trooper that she is worked through the cold and wind (the wind actually worked to our advantage for a few shots).

We shot 4 different looks today and got some really sexy images out of this. Shyla seemed to be right at home throughout this shoot. We all had a great time as usual and definitely got some fantastic images.

~Treeko Mietto~

What an exhausting day … 6 looks over 2 locations!

Today I shot Treeko Mietto, yet another Sudbury beauty.

We started off at Sessions Studios where we shot 3 looks including one for Sinful Boards.

After we wrapped up at the studio we headed over to the Gladstone Hotel to do something a little sexier. And was it ever sexy!

I have to say this may be one of the funniest shoots I have done to date, Treeko had both me and my mua Aisha Chacha (owner of Chacha Cosmetics) laughing in stitches almost the whole time!

Being a Sudbury girl we tried to keep the looks country but sexy, I think we did a good job, what do you think?

~Playboy Cover Model Rachelle Wilde~

Ok, so this shoot is turning out SOOOO HOTT that I actually had to take a minute and blog in the middle of my shoot. I have never done this before.

Today I am shooting 3 time Playboy Cover model Rachelle Wilde at the Gladstone Hotel in Toronto, Canada!

Rachelle is an absolute blast to work with and the images are looking smoking hott, my lens cap has melted a little already.

As usual I have my incredibly talented mua on set the lovely Aisha Chacha, owner of Chacha Cosmetics and the amazing Gianni Mota doing hair, owner of Otazzi Salon.

We still have 2 more looks to go and the shots keep getting hotter, stay tuned for the pix in the weeks to come, in the mean time enjoy the teaser below.

~Courtney Seymour~

Today I had the pleasure of shooting with Ms. Courtney Seymour from Indianapolis, Indiana.

Courtney was up in Toronto working with Slam Magazine interviewing players at the Toronto Raptors vs. Chicago Bulls game.

Ms. Courtney got in touch with me through Twitter to see if I would be in town and able to set something up while she was here.

Needless say we made it happen, I called on my amazingly talented mua Miss Aisha Chacha to do the shoot with me. Aisha brought along this cute little referee outfit that we figure Slam Magazine will love (final edits to come soon).

The shoot went well, we all had a blast and made some new friends. Maybe sometime in the near future Aisha and I can head down to Indianapolis and shoot Courtney there.

~My Darkest Days~

So today I caught up with rock band My Darkest Days to do a photo shoot and interview for BLD Magazine.

We met up at the top secret Rock Shack, a location more mysterious and guarded than the bat cave!

Along with me I brought Kay de Courval and Majik Films along with me to cover the shoot and record the interview.

The shoot went well, we got some great shots and Kay de Courval got to conduct her first interview! Kay was a little nervous before we got started but quickly became very comfortable and just kicked back and had fun with the interview.

We will be looking forward to the upcoming tour where we will have an opportunity to catch up with the guys on the road and take some live shots of them doing what they do best!
